ABOUT THE SONG
Rick: Let’s talk about how motherhood, how being a devoted wife to Nick has sort of changed the outlook on life for you.
MC: I never thought I was gonna have kids. I remember being a little girl and being like, “I don’t think I’m going to, I don’t wanna have babies when I grow up, I’m just gonna be a… and for a while I was probably convinced of that. And then I just realized that, you know, things change and that’s what happens. I love, they give me a reason to live, and I wrote a song for them on this album and it’s called ‘Supernatural.’ Dem babies are on the song, so, and they were singing this when they were like just two. Mainly it’s Miss Monroe singing, and Rock is on there.
Rick: She’s actually singing?
MC: Well she’s, you’ll hear. I can’t give it away.
Rick: Goo goo and gaga-ing?
MC: No, she’s singing, she sings the first line of the song. - ET Canada "Mariah Carey: My Twins Are Singing on My New Album” by Antionette Bueno, April 10, 2014. Interview with Rick Campinelli
